Terms of Service

By using SoundsDawn, you agree to these terms and all platform rules, including the community guidelines and copyright rules. SoundsDawn ("we", "our", "us") provides a music and audio streaming service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the service.

• Accounts: You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your password secure. You may not use another person's account or create accounts to evade enforcement. SoundsDawn may limit, suspend, or remove accounts that violate these terms or harm the service.
• User Content: You keep ownership of content you upload (playlists, comments, profiles), but you grant SoundsDawn permission to host, process, display, and distribute that content to provide the service. You must have the rights needed to upload content.
• Subscriptions & Payments: Paid features, memberships, and subscriptions are subject to eligibility checks, payment processor rules, and tax requirements. SoundsDawn may reverse, hold, or decline transactions connected to fraud, chargebacks, policy violations, or account risk.
• Prohibited Conduct: Do not upload illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content. Do not interfere with SoundsDawn systems, scrape the service without permission, or attempt unauthorized access. Do not manipulate streams, plays, followers, or platform metrics.
• Service Changes: SoundsDawn may add, remove, or change features, pricing, eligibility requirements, or policies. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.

Core App Purpose

SoundsDawn is a music and audio streaming platform that allows users to discover, stream, and share music and audio content. Users can browse curated playlists, follow artists, create personal libraries, and interact with a community of music enthusiasts. Free accounts are supported by audio advertising, and paid Premium plans unlock ad-free listening, higher audio quality, unlimited skips, and offline downloads. Music owners use the platform to distribute releases, track engagement, and earn from streams. Business users can manage advertising campaigns and analyze engagement metrics.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. SoundsDawn collects information needed to run the platform, protect users, improve recommendations, and process paid features.

1. Information We Collect

• Account details: name, email address, profile information, and authentication details.
• Listening activity: songs played, playlists created, artists followed, search history, and listening preferences.
• Payment and subscription information: needed to process purchases and manage Premium accounts.
• Usage and device information: pages visited, app interactions, device type, approximate location, and error logs.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and maintain SoundsDawn features, including streaming, playlists, recommendations, and subscriptions.
• Personalize music recommendations, improve safety tools, troubleshoot bugs, and prevent abuse.
• Communicate account notices, new release alerts, playlist updates, and security alerts.
• Meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and platform security obligations.

3. Device Permissions and Why We Need Them

SoundsDawn requests only the device permissions necessary to deliver its core features. Each permission is used exclusively for the stated purpose, and you can deny or revoke any permission through your device settings at any time:

Users should keep account credentials private and report suspicious activity.

Cookies help personalize your experience, remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and improve performance. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Subscription Plans & Pricing

SoundsDawn offers a free, ad-supported tier and two Premium plans. Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis, and you may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. When you change plans, your current plan is deactivated immediately and the new plan begins. If you cancel, you retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

Community Guidelines

SoundsDawn is a platform for music lovers and creators. To keep it safe and welcoming, everyone must follow these rules. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or termination.

• Respectful Behavior: Treat others with respect. Do not harass, threaten, or bully. Do not post hateful content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
• Content Standards: Do not upload sexually explicit, violent, or gory content. Do not promote illegal activities, self-harm, or dangerous acts. Do not use misleading titles or descriptions to trick listeners.
• Integrity: Do not artificially inflate streams, followers, likes, or playlist counts. Do not operate automated accounts or bots. Do not impersonate artists, brands, or other individuals.

Copyright & DMCA Policy

SoundsDawn respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. Uploading or streaming music you do not own or lack permission to use violates our policies and may result in content removal, copyright strikes, or account termination.

Copyright Strikes

• When a valid DMCA takedown notice is received, the infringing content is removed and a copyright strike is issued to the uploader.
• Accounts receiving multiple copyright strikes may be terminated.
• Strikes expire after 90 days, subject to review.

DMCA Takedown Notices

If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded without authorization, submit a DMCA notice including: identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material and its location on SoundsDawn, your contact information, a statement of good faith belief, and your signature.

Counter-Notifications

If you believe content was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notification. If valid, the content may be reinstated unless the copyright owner files a court action.

Fraud & Financial Integrity Policy

SoundsDawn takes fraud prevention seriously. Any attempt to deceive the platform, other users, or payment processors is strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension, forfeiture of earnings, and legal action where applicable.

• Payment Fraud: Using stolen or fraudulent payment methods to purchase Premium or services is prohibited. Chargeback abuse will result in immediate account suspension and permanent ban from payment features.
• Artist & Payout Fraud: Falsifying streams or engagement to generate fraudulent royalty revenue is prohibited. Providing false payout or tax information is prohibited. Revenue from fraudulent activity will be withheld and forfeited. Stream manipulation thresholds are monitored automatically and suspicious playback patterns may be excluded from royalty calculations.
• Advertiser Fraud: Generating fake ad impressions, clicks, or conversions is prohibited. Clicking your own ads or incentivizing clicks is prohibited. Ad fraud may result in account termination and legal action.
• Reporting Fraud: If you suspect fraudulent activity, report it through the contact page. Reports are investigated promptly.

Harassment & Cyberbullying Policy

SoundsDawn does not tolerate harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse. We take reports seriously and may remove content, issue strikes, or terminate accounts that engage in these behaviors.

• Targeted personal attacks, insults, or threats directed at an individual or group.
• Doxxing — publishing private identifying information without consent.
• Encouraging others to harass or attack a specific person or community.
• Revealing intimate content without consent (revenge porn).
• Repeated unwanted contact, stalking, or coordinated harassment campaigns.
• Users can block accounts and report abusive content. Creators can moderate their profiles. Serious or repeated harassment leads to permanent account suspension.

Hate Speech Policy

SoundsDawn prohibits content that promotes or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.

• Race, ethnicity, nationality, or immigration status.
• Religion or religious belief.
• Gender, gender identity, or gender expression.
• Sexual orientation or romantic orientation.
• Age, disability, or serious medical condition.
• Calling for violence, exclusion, or segregation based on protected status is prohibited.
• Using slurs, stereotypes, or dehumanizing language targeting protected groups is prohibited.
• Promoting hate groups, supremacist ideologies, or hateful conspiracy theories is prohibited.

Child Safety Policy

SoundsDawn has zero tolerance for content that endangers minors. Any content depicting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), exploitation, or inappropriate conduct with minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.

• Any sexually suggestive, exploitative, or abusive content featuring minors is prohibited.
• Grooming, sextortion, or coercing minors into explicit acts is prohibited.
• Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 may have additional feature restrictions.
• If you encounter content involving child exploitation, report it immediately. Do not share or engage with the content.

Spam & Deceptive Practices Policy

SoundsDawn prohibits spam, scams, and deceptive practices that mislead users or manipulate platform systems.

• Posting repetitive, irrelevant, or unsolicited content in comments, playlists, or messages.
• Using misleading titles, cover art, or metadata to trick users (clickbait).
• Promoting fake services, get-rich-quick schemes, or fraudulent offers.
• Distributing malware, phishing links, or harmful software.
• Operating fake engagement services that sell streams, followers, or playlist placements.
• Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or artificially promote content.

Impersonation Policy

Impersonating an artist, brand, or organization on SoundsDawn is prohibited. Accounts that mislead users by pretending to be someone else may be suspended or permanently removed.

• Using another artist's name, image, or likeness to create a misleading presence.
• Copying a profile's branding, photos, or style to deceive users.
• Fan accounts or tribute pages must be clearly labeled and must not mislead.
• Impersonation for fraud, harassment, or deception results in immediate termination.

Enforcement & Termination Policy

SoundsDawn enforces these policies through a graduated system of actions, from content removal to permanent account termination.

• Content removal: Playlists, comments, or profiles that violate policies are removed.
• Strikes: Violations result in strikes. Accumulating multiple strikes may lead to restrictions or termination.
• Feature restrictions: Accounts may lose access to streaming, uploading, or commenting.
• Temporary suspension: Accounts may be temporarily suspended for repeated or serious violations.
• Permanent termination: Accounts are permanently terminated for severe violations, fraud, illegal content, or repeated policy violations.
• Appeals: If you believe an action was taken in error, submit an appeal through the contact page.

Refund Policy

SoundsDawn Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. All payments are non-refundable as a general rule, with the following exceptions:

• Non-refundable items include: unused portions of a billing period, canceled subscriptions, changed plans, and account deletions.
• When changing plans, your current plan will be deactivated immediately and the new plan will begin.
• If you cancel, you retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.

Data Retention & Deletion

SoundsDawn retains your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through your profile settings or by contacting support. When you delete your account, your playlists, listening history, and profile information are permanently removed. Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and accounting.
